Chris Shaw is a Director in Australia and has over 8 years’ experience with Gordon Brothers.
Previously Chris was responsible for managing the delivery of asset appraisals for some of the world’s biggest asset-based lenders, corporate advisors and private equity firms. Today Chris uses his deep understanding of asset values to underpin financial transactions across a variety of industry sectors from agriculture to metals to retail & consumer products.
Chris joined Gordon Brothers in 2009 as an Analyst in the London office and worked on a number of transactions, including the largest corporate guarantee ever provided on a European retail disposition, with many high profile businesses. Chris has worked closely with each of the service groups within Gordon Brothers; Valuations, Dispositions, Operations and Investments, and has extensive experience of financial modelling, tangible and intangible asset valuations, business restructuring and corporate finance.
Prior to joining Gordon Brothers, Chris held roles at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and EY. Chris has a BSc. (Hons) in Economics and Politics from the University of Bath and is a Chartered Management Accountant. He is also a member of the Turnaround Management Association.
