Leonard Polivy brings almost three decades of hands-on experience in the jewellery business to Gordon Brothers where he works on a variety of retail dispositions and appraisal projects. He was instrumental in one of Gordon Brothers' largest jewellery disposition sales, which included six different name plates across 27 states. Leonard began his jewellery career with Gordon Brothers in the mid-1980s and went on to become the president and owner of a wholesale diamond company. In addition, Leonard has supervised the inventory verification and authentication process for over 25 regional and national jewellery wholesalers and retailers. He also held other management positions within the jewellery sector before returning to Gordon Brothers in 2009. Leonard is a member of the Jewellers Board of Trade, American Gemological Society and Jewellers Vigilance Committee and is also an associate member of the American Society of Appraisers. He attended the University of Miami where he studied business administration. Leonard was featured as an appraiser on PBS's "What's It Really Worth" antiques discovery show.
